Hate is a strong word

Gosh, I get alot of “Hate Mail”! It’s a shame we live in a world where bigotry still runs rampant! I guess if I’m putting my life out there, there’s bound to be people who dont agree with it and thats all fine and good. With my vandalized barracks door and the excessive hate mail lately, I’m really doing great! ;-) A few people pointed out that I wasnt a “real Marine”. I guess graduating the same boot camp as you doesnt count? Or the 300 PFT? Not even the 1st Swim Class huh?! What’s a boy to do. I work my ass off to excel physically and mentally at my job but just because I’m gay means im not good enough? Look around “honey”, there’s gays EVERYWHERE and your just ignorant to the fact. For any of you straight military folks reading, take a look at your NCO or your Gunny, next time you have formation think about the Captain standing in front of the formation! Some of them are gay, I can guarantee it, and they’re probably checkin’ out your ass when you walk away!!

I met a gay sailor at a bar a while back who said there was a whole underground “network” of military gays in San Diego. From e-1 all the way 0-7 (the he knows of). They represent…haha…Now that I’m back in the city I want to get more involved. I need to make me a few friends of the same persuasion.

Anyhow, speaking of my recent troubles, tell me about your experience as a gay service member. Were you ever discovered, how did you live a double life?! Comment please, it’ll make me feel better knowing theres others who weathered the storm…

  1. lol..damn. ain’t it funny to hear bout the hate in the marine corps. I was the lead. .50 instructor for 1MarDiv as Platoon Sgt. in my company when I was in 1stForce. But being gay means we can’t do that…or as I say…we make being a marine look and be easy..its the heteros that fuck it up and get jealous they can’t rate to skate. Keep up the blogs. Look forward to chatting with you and possibly hanging out….

Firstly, English is my 2nd language~
    I would like to say…
you’ve got to live your life. Don’t let others to judge you. There is no point for them to do so…

what do you think, I think you have got your answer before you asking such question, right?

feel free to email me, I’m will to exchange thoughts~

  3. yo im feelin all of what you say. i’ve got quite alot to say about being in the corps and in the closet at the same time. hit me up man i’d like to have another marine to acutally talk to.

  4. Here’s the thing fellas. Regardless of your sexual orientation, a United States Marine is trained to defend our/his counry. He/She does their job to the best of their ability and I trust them as a solier that loves thier country gay or straight. Sure, most Marine males have a body that you wanna lick all over, but we can’t get carried away with that unless your in the sack with one and then, believe me, you’re in for a treat. I’m an ex Army Ranger Lieutenant (always Hunter!!) and not to sound prejudiced, but a Marine knows his/her body and (I know this sounds wierd) is always clean, and smells that way. They always have clean breath and are very gentle in bed, unless you want it otherwise and er…be carefull what you ask for cause it’s pretty intense. To my boys…HoooRaaah.

  5. I’m an Army Ranger Black Hawk pilot (uuuuah…Hunter always!) My partner is a Marine Staff Sargeant. We have phenomonal sex every day and we serve our country to the best of our ability and are loyal to that mission. None of your business who we sleep with, no matter what our Commander in Chief says.

So is it worth joining if you’re an 18 year old gay male? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Our new President has vowed to overturn Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. A new era is right around the corner.
Thanks for sticking with it, I applaud you.
